St. Michael's Anglican Church Sabah

One can hardly find this kind of building architecture in Malaysia. Even if there is, it might have been teared down or destroyed during wars. Though is approximately 120 years old....... it still stands very firm and very well maintained. It is located in Sandakan, Sabah. A must visit when you are in Sandakan, of course, not forgetting the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre (Sepilok) and Pulau Sipadan.

Ever experience this........

Ever encounter a person who used you in order for himself/herself to escape from being scolded or blamed you for things that you've not done/responsible for? I'm sure we have seen a lot of this throughout our lives. A person gets credits and the other becomes a scapegoat. Even young children nowadays do so too. It is in our very own nature.

Have you also ever felt weary, unhappy, frustrated, demotivated, and betrayed when another person for eg. your friend, your immediate supervisor take credits on something you did.... You are supposed to be the one who should be taking these credits and be praised. Instead, after you have put your effort, time and hard work, someone came along and take those hard work of yours for himself/herself in order to look good in front of people.... so, unbearable right?

You must be thinking is this fair? No it is not, not fair at all. But, hey, the world is a fallen world, no one and nothing is perfect. But, that doesn't mean we have no ethics in our work and dealings with people. One might say this is for the survival of the fittest, but, at the end of the day, when our bones are brittle, our hearts no longer gives us any consistent beats, and our mind no longer function well, we will look back and ask what good is it to strive to gain the world and win praises, for everything will one day turn to ash/dust.

hmm... first time having a blog, so, it takes sometimes to think of a title, the purpose of this blog and what to post. This blog will share with those who read it some events that takes place and articles that is interesting and meaningful. Sometimes, living in a city, one do not often find grace and kindness in the midst of hustle and bustle in the city, especially in a city which has been ranked to be the 3rd rudest city in the world.

I hope that this blog of mine will show that there is still grace around and will bring insights into some events and things that might be interesting and meaningful. Of course, besides this, I hope this blog will be a good place to be sharing opinions, comments, pictures and anything of interest with others.
